Moroccan Oil Restorative Hair Treatment Review

A few days after I purchased the Moroccan Oil styling product (review below this post), I got the Moroccan Oil Restorative Hair Treatment (CA$37).

I’ve been trying this product out for the past few weeks, as I like to have a good testing range for new products.

After washing with my regular shampoo, I put this in and let it soak into my hair for 7-10 minutes, as per the instructions. My hair felt so silky and soft when the product was in. However, after I rinsed it out, my hair didn’t feel smooth at all. After my hair completely dried, it was as if I didn’t put in the product at all. My $7 L’Oreal Sulfate-Free Conditioner did a better job at softening my hair and keeping it soft after the rinsing stage. I just felt that this product wasn’t worth the $37 I paid for it. The Fekkai Protein Rx Anti-breakage Treatment Mask($30) was a better purchase and it contained protein, which is better for my damaged hair.

It smells just like the Moroccan Oil, but just a bit sheer, which I appreciate. The consistency was very thick, which I prefer for conditioning treatments.

Overall, a 6.5/10 on the LN scale.

Thanks for the review! I was interested in purchasing this product being I use the oil. Have you used Bumble Bumble products?

  • It is always advisable to read reviews about certain product before purchasing anything, especially online. So thank you for the information provided as this could be a great basis for potential buyers of Moroccan Oil Restorative Hair Treatment.
